The Drama Studio has many volunteer opportunities for DS students and parents alike.

If you're a student, just ask your friends: many of them have joined the impressive community of stage-managers, lighting board operators, sound technicians, event planners, PR representatives and more!

You can:

Take people on a tour of the DS during an Open House

Stage Manage or Assistant Stage Manage a Mainstage Production

Run the lighting board

Be a spotlight operator

Run the sound board

 Be a costume matron

Be on a DS Street Team in your school

If you're a parent, just ask your children and teens how many jobs the Drama Studio uses volunteers for.

We need YOU for all of the above, and for:

Event planning commitees

Carpool scheduling

Town booster commitees

Fundraising

Baking

Repair work and Studio improvement projects

Sewing

Cabaret coordination

Media and Advertising

The Drama Studio does offer volunteer and service credit for any time spent out of school and for any student that wishes to do DS volunteering out of performance and conservatory class time for a volunteering project.

The Drama Studio currently has a summer internship program which only accepts a few DS students to mentor younger campers.
