Dear Student,

We hope that you will join us for class this year!  The Drama Studio offers a unique conservatory-style acting training program.

What does conservatory-style mean? It means that our coordinated program includes both exciting classroom training and great performance opportunities.

Our acting classes are small in size (a maximum of 15 students) and are taught by a professional faculty.   After taking an Introduction to Acting Course for two semesters,  you will receive a recommendation for a wide variety of intermediate and advanced courses that increase in difficulty and range as you grow and develop your acting technique and interests.

Your performance opportunities are varied. In addition to our class “sharings” on the final class of each semester and our annual Cabaret that features work developed in the classroom, we offer three full-length productions each year, two annual festivals of student-written one act plays, and our acclaimed touring program which tours to Springfield elementary schools.  You can audition for any of these productions throughout the year!

Whatever your level of experience or confidence, the Drama Studio has a place for you.  Our theatre training will allow you to grow, learn and challenge yourself to discover what you have to offer and become.
